Fall Session begins Tuesday, September 7th, 2010

The Certificate Course program is a 21 week study of the significant countries and wine regions of the world. Professional emphasis is on the varietals, viticulture specifics, techniques of tasting, food and wine pairing and service. You will taste over 120 wines, retailing at well over $6,000. One class is totally devoted to Spirits. Cooperage and viniculture are included; business and legal aspects and licensing are also addressed and reviewed in detail.
The 21 week program is offered in the fall, September to January, and spring, March to July, of each year. The classes are held in New York City, once a week, Tuesdays, from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

There is a final examination that includes all topics covered in the course. Students who pass this are awarded the Sommelier Society of America, Inc. diploma/certificate.
Course tuition includes all text books and materials. Applications must be accompanied by payment for tuition.
