Retail Wine Shop Assistant Manager

September Wines & Spirits, a wine boutique on the Lower East Side is looking for an Assistant Manager. The individual will assist the manager and the owner in the day-to-day operations of a wine shop. Primarily, the individual will be responsible for selling wine to our customers. Duties also include updating the website, writing tasting notes, tasting and seeking out new wines.

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of wine & spirits. Excellent customer service skills. Must be computer literate including, but not limited to use of internet, Excel & Word. Will need to be able to work with Point of Sale system. Will need to lift and move cases.

Salary Information: Commensurate with experience.

Hours:
Approximately 45 hrs/wk
