Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the below:

·       Assisting in inventory and storage of all beverages

·       Educating the staff as needed

·       Conducting Beverage orientation with all new staff

·       Coordinating the cleaning, maintenance, and organization of all the beverage storage areas

·       Working in a floating position to assist with all aspects of service including but not limited to beverage service

·       Maintaining the upkeep and organization of Compete, inventory, location sheets and other beverage related items

·       Recognizing “regular” guests and developing relationships with those guests

·       Creating informational material for staff beverage education

The ideal candidate will have the following:

·       A minimum of 5 years of FOH food service experience in a setting that has similar quality and service standards, with 2 years of wine service experience

·       Strong Wine knowledge, Greek wine knowledge strongly preferred

·       Adheres to the philosophy of being “Guest-Centered” by responding to the guest requests with imagination, sincerity, and a willingness to please

·       Possess outstanding food and beverage product knowledge

·       Extensive experience with wine and beverage sales and service

·       Demonstrates clear written and verbal communication skills

·       Must be able to maintain professionalism and composure in stressful and high pressure situations

·       Ability to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and direction

·       Knowledge of POS systems

·       Ability to have a flexible schedule and be able to work on nights, weekends, and or holidays

·       Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time

·       Lift up to 50 pounds of weight

·       Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, walk, carry multiple objects
