Rooftop Reds Vineyard Seeking all FOH positions for 2023 season!

Rooftop Reds, the world’s first commercially-viable urban rooftop vineyard located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard is seeking staff for the 2023 Season (March-November).

Enjoy incredible views, and a whimsical vineyard atmosphere, while providing top notch wine service to a diverse clientele. Currently, Rooftop Reds is accepting resumes for the job positions that are detailed below:

Server - You must be detail oriented, service driven, have an excellent memory and a strong wine knowledge. NY State wine knowledge is a plus as we only sell NY wines ($12.50 per hr + Tips).

Requirements:
-POS and computer competency

-Good verbal and written communication skills.
-Teamwork skills
-At least 1 year of NYC experience. High volume experience preferred.
-Must be able to stand for an extended period of time and lift heavy objects (40lb)
-Must be 21 years old.
-USA work authorization required.
-Regular access to phone & email service (for communication and scheduling).
**Wine education (SSA, WSET, CMS or equivalent) a BIG plus**

Responsibilities Include:
-Taking drink and food orders.
-Knowledge of wine and menu items.
-Fulfilling and managing needs of customers.
-Maintain server station and general rooftop cleanliness.
-Various opening and closing duties.

Bartender - Service bartender position, pouring glasses, carafes, and flights for the rooftop at high volume. Wine, beer, cider only. Strong wine background required. ($12.50 per hr + tips).

-Strong sense of urgency. 
-Ability to work with speed and organization.
-Minimum 1 year NYC experience required.  High volume preferred.

-keeping inventory stocked in the tasting room bar and storage rooms.  
-Various opening and closing duties.
