In a way, Amy was always on a wine journey, she just hadn’t realized it all along! Her first trip to France included visiting St. Emillion, attending a wine class in Bordeaux, during which she surprised the tourist-filled class by declaring that she would someday become a sommelier!

After many more vineyard visits — including Tuscany, Veneto, Jerez and Andalusia, Napa, and Champagne — and countless at-home informal “wine school” nights later, Amy finally decided to enroll at the Sommelier Society of America.

In 2022, Amy received her Sommelier Society of America Certification with distinction.

Amy currently works as a Fine Wine Specialist at Tribeca Wine Merchants while pursuing her the Wine Spirit and Education Trust Level 3 Award in Wine.

Amy’s motto is “Always Be Tasting,” which she enthusiastically follows to heart.
