Jean-Remi Barbier

Jean-Remi Barbier, born and raised in Champagne, France, combines deep-rooted heritage with modern expertise in the wine industry. He holds a Champagne Master-Level certification from the Wine Scholar Guild and a BBA from HEC Montréal.

Based in New York for over a decade, he has held key roles at Vranken-Pommery and Maisons Marques & Domaines, working closely with distributors and top on- and off-premise accounts.

As Business Development Manager for Roederer Collection Imports, he drives market strategy, supports key partnerships, and leads high-impact brand activations across priority markets in the US. He also serves as an instructor at the Sommelier Society of America.

Jean-Remi is also an artist, painting and creating artworks inspired by neo-pop, abstract expressionism and street art. You can find some of his artworks: J-Art (jr-art.us) 

When not working, he can be found in his kitchen – cooking, always with a glass of champagne!
