Beaupierre Wine & Spirits is a new wine shop run by hospitality veterans! Conveniently located in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.

Beaupierre specializes in thoughtful selections from around the world, small producers, and terroir driven wines. Most of the wines on the shelves here at Beaupierre are highly allocated wines that you would find in some of your favorite restaurants.

Beaupierre is now looking to add to their team! This is a part-time sales position that will help assist with some marketing. Responsibilities for this position include helping guests with their selections in-store, over the phone, and online. Assist with some wine written to drive sales. This individual should demonstrate wine knowledge, and have excellent communication skills. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively by phone, email & in-person, as the position will involve some customer service. Experience in sales, writing, data entry, and MailChimp a plus.

At Beaupierre hospitality is number one and here you will gain experience in wine, spirits, retail, and hospitality. This is a great opportunity for Sommeliers looking to gain experience in the retail space, or recent wine students looking to gain a better understanding of the wine industry. This position will allow you to grow and develop wine and retail service skills, and be a part of a dynamic team!

Requirements:

●      Part-time.

●      2-3 shifts a week.

●      Must be 21 years of age or older.

●      Hourly pay $20/hour.

●      Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

●      Ability to stand on for up to 8 or 10 hours.

●      Ability to lift up to 50LB when needed.

Responsibilities include:

●      Assisting customers with purchases in store, by phone, email and online.

●      Update the wine and spirit descriptions as new items come in.

●      Assist with wine writing for Marketing and Sales.

●      Receiving inventory and inputting data into our POS system.

●      Occasionally Check in deliveries.

●      Sales register operations.

●      General daily cleaning and maintenance of the store.

●      Opening or closing the store.

●      Restocking the shelves and refrigerators.
